Subtotal does not collect, upload or share any personal data.

• Your lists, meal plans, prices, shops and budgets are stored only on your iPhone.
• What you tell the meal planner (who's eating, foods to avoid, how you usually eat, your budget) is stored only on your iPhone and used only to plan your meals there.
• The camera is used only to read shelf prices while the scanner is open. No images are saved or sent anywhere.
• If you allow it, Subtotal uses your location while the app is open to tell which supermarket you're at, through Apple Maps. Only the store you're at is saved, on your iPhone. Your location is never stored or sent to us.
• Purchases are handled by Apple. Subtotal never sees your payment details.
• There are no ads, analytics or tracking, and no accounts.

This website

getsubtotal.app counts visits with Umami, which we host ourselves. It uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and is switched off if your browser asks sites not to track you. The app itself collects nothing.
